Mosquito bite that caused my foot to swell up???? HELP?!?
-
Friday night I was outside and I got bit by a mosquito in the foot. I didn't think much of it..it started itching the next day so I put some Benedryl anti itching gel, it went away for a few hours then the itch came back so I put the gel on again. Today, half my foot is swollen. What does this mean? What do I do? I also got bit in the other foot, but I didn't apply the gel the second time because it wasn't itchy anymore, but it still swelled up. Not as much as the first foot though. It's just swollen around the bite. Also the mosquitoes were huge if that makes any difference.

Answer:
Mosquitoes can have all kinds of diseases on them, it's kind of hard to tell though, perhaps you where just allergic to it's bite, I mean the worst thing that could happen is if a Botfly bit you; but that only happens if you're really gross...Let's just hope for the best
