How long will the bump on my forehead stay?

Large bug-bite-like bump on forehead!?

Last night, I was lying down and I noticed a under-the-skin bump on my forehead. It was about the size of a thumb nail & it's the same color of my skin so you can't really notice it. It had no like pinpoint that showed where a bug might have bitten it, but I put ice on it for about ten minutes & went to sleep. When I woke up, the bump was HUGE. It covers half of my forehead; from hair line to eyebrow. There's no itching or pain. It just burns a little bit- just like a mosquito bite does. But i'm pretty sure that it's not a mosquito bite. I have no idea what it is, PLEASE HELP ?!? School is in a week and I don't want to go with a swollen bump on my forehead :| - please tell me what kinda of bug bite it is & how to get rid of it! :| thaankyou :)
