The redness of a sunburn?

Ok ; sunburn, redness, sting. help?

  • ok ; so i rode on the back of a motor cycle from arizona to texas. and i am at a hotel right now. while riding i got a HUGE sunburn on my shoulders and face (cheeks, nose and somewhat chin) and well how do i reduce redness and sting? i have used shaving cream the only thing i dont understand if i should rub the shaving cream in or just let it set on top? is there anything i can do for the redness and sting? something that i would have or the hotel would have in the room. i cant go to the store because there is no drug store near by. please help.

  • Answer:

aloe vera! it's amazing. it's pretty cold, so it might sting a little but it heals so fast. the hotel might have some, ask anyone at the front desk. other than that, i don't think there's much you can do for it.

Sunburn takes time to heal no matter what use use im afraid, Hydro gel helps but if you cant get it then you should use the shower head on cold and let the running water run over the burnt skin for a least 20 mins every 2 hours.

Go to the front desk and ask about lotions that have Aloe Vera in them.

Do you have ice? Running water might help, too.
