Bed bug bites or flea bites?

Is it bed bug, flea or mosquito bites?

  • My 2 year old has these big red bumps all over her legs. we do live near the woods, but do not have any animals. we had bed bugs in our couches but they have been taken care of, and i have repeatedly checked her mattress and there is not even so much as a bed bug egg on it. the bites are about 2 cm in diameter, and are very red. she is constantly scratching them, so that is why i am concerned. i have 2 other children a 1 month old and a 4 year old who dont have any bites, and neither does my husband or myself...atleast not like she has them. anyone have any advice on how i can figure out what kind of bites they are?

    Usually bed bug bites are in pars of three and are very itchy. if they were mosquito bites they would be red if she had itched them a lot but if you can get her to not itch them for a little while and they turn into her natural skin color then they could be mosquito bites f not then they might be fleas or a skin rash. if it doesn't go away in about a day or so then you should take her to a doctor to see what it is just to make shore that it isn't anything more serious.

Flea and bed bug bites are in clusters, and almost looks like a rash. If the bites are in random spots, they're most likely mosquito bites.

it sounds like it is mosquito bites. as long as they are scattered and in random places it is most likely a mosquito.usually flea bites are pretty small.

if he is outside in the grass it could be jiger bites but i would see a dr because i am sure that is very painful the itching is horrible no matter what the bites are
