I got a wax ear plug stuck in my ear canal and im not surehow to get it out. any suggestions?

  • its a relatively small piece but big enough to block my hearing

  • Answer:

Don't do this yourself dude. You will hurt yourself and you don't want to mess with your hearing. Go to the doc the treatment feels really good and you will rid yourself of it without risk.

You could use water that is warm enough to melt the wax, but not too hot that you burn your self or ear drum. There's is an item called and ear wax tool used in doctors offices. Dunno if they sell them in places like wallgreens or not but if you have one of these items have your parent or trusted friend try and use this tool to remove the wax.

You have probably already pushed it in further than it should be to safely retrieve if you have been trying unsuccessfully to get it out. Go see the doctor, and next time remember: Wax and silicone plugs are made to cover the OUTSIDE of the ear opening, they should NOT be pushed into the ear canal. Following directions can save you a lot of hassle.

wow really. well don't touch it cause you could push it in further. I say you should get some professional help like a doctor...
