Is it easier to ice skate or roller blade?

If I know how to roller blade do I know how to ice skate?

  • Im going ice skating for the first time and I am nervous, I can skate and roller blade pretty well and I assume roller blading is just like warm ice skating

    You'll get the hang of ice skating after a few minutes. Don't forget that ice is more slippery than concrete and the blades on ice skates are thinner than the wheels on rollerblades.

i didnt know how to ice skate but i knew how to roller blade and when i went for my first time on the ice it was pretty easy

i think you are being a bit green about this, remember you are on a blade not on wheels and you will move different although it may help you with balance and other techniques
