What are some tips on staying organized in school?

Tips for staying on track in homeschool!?

  • i am about to go into high school and nervous that homeschooling isn't for me. i've grown more custom to the lifestyle of doing nothing and being lazy and now i really need to get on track again, or else i'm pretty much going to decide for myself to go to public school that way i will be forced to do the work. its now what i want but i feel a bit trapped. please give me some tips for staying on track and getting all my work done and organized. mon. and wed. i go to my dads house from usually around 3:30-at latest, 12. those days are hardest to get my work done.

  • Answer:

stop thinking that homeschooling is not for you .Its better than public school. Prepare for Efficiency To accomplish your work with the greatest possible efficiency, it is vital to prepare your surroundings. Designate a drawer and/or shelf just for school supplies, and return everything to that space at the end of the day. Having to hunt for an eraser in the middle of a math problem will interrupt your flow and cause unnecessary frustration. Make a List and Stick to it Each evening, I suggest making a list of tasks that need to be accomplished the next day, in order of urgency. Do you have a favorite subject? Put it towards the bottom of the list to give yourself incentive to work through your least favorite classes. If you find yourself finishing early, add a few extra, less critical tasks with question marks. If you don't have time for them, don't sweat it -- just add them to the top of the following day's list.

i am sorry for saying this but stop making excuses and work hard i was a university student majoring in computer science. i had reached my last year in 2001. i had only 8 courses left for graduation. unfortunately i became real sick and had to drop university. i stayed at home 9 years doing nothing but playing games and watching movies. towards the end i studied by myself because i was planning on resuming university. in 2010 i rejoined my university. i was extremely scared. i had forgotten a huge part of what i learnt long ago. in the 1st semester i took 2 courses. i was suffering because i wasn't studying properly. the smartest girl in class took pity on me and started tutoring me in the computer science course. i passed it in the end. i got 75. i couldn't have done it without her. i handled the other course on my own and got 85. in the 2nd semester i took 3 courses. i made sure to take the computer science course with her. i studied really hard. i got 92 which was the highest mark in all the computer science department. i got 90 and 90 in my other 2 courses. in the 3rd semester i took 2 computer science courses and handled them mostly by myself. that girl had graduated. by then i was accustomed to studying properly. however in that semester tragedy struck me. i got hit by a car as i was crossing the street. thank God only my leg broke and nothing else. i had to do surgery and missed 1 week of classes. i then insisted not to drop and continue my classes. i couldn't walk for 2 months and had to go to classes in a wheelchair. i couldn't focus very well because of pain and i fell behind. i had to work really really hard. in the end i got 85 in one course which again was the highest in the computer science department. in the other one i got 78 because i hated it. in my last semester i took my last course in the engineering department. i studied with 2 engineering students. i got 83. after that i graduated and got my bachelors degree :-) the moral of my story is work hard and ask for help from the good students and hopefully things will be ok good luck :-)
