How to convince my mom to let me homeschool?

• Hi I'm fifteen and live a pretty safe life I guess. I've made straight As this past year at school and am determined to keep it up. The thought of going back to my school really depresses me though. As crazy as it seems, yes I made perfect grades the past year but I also was a huge partier/pothead. I was smoking weed every weekend and sometimes before and after school and hung out with all the wrong people. I started popping pills like adderal and loratabs too. I'm not the best communicator with people my age, and I tend to lose confidence easily where I just end up keeping quiet and isolating myself. I guess thats one of the reasons why I got into drugs; to help me be more social and to have something to do and talk about with my "friends". Well, I know now that was a very very dumb decision and excuse. I quit drugs this summer and isolated myself from all my old "friends" I now surround myself with my family and books as well as exercise and the outdoors. I have been thinking about homeschooling; this way I won't feel bothered with the social situations at school, as well as the parties and drugs and just keep up the good grades at home. Besides that, I simply just find eight hours a day inside unnatural &Iknow I would be a lot more productive homeschooling. Like I said about my dedication to my grades, it is time consuming being at school 8 hours a day, and then I'm still not done because I have homework and studying to do after. Being outside and exercising should not be difficult to fit into everyday, but it is. I feel deprived from the things I would really love to do besides just school; dance classes, yoga, exercising, traveling, making money working, volunteering for the community and at hospitals,learning life skills like cooking and working,etc. I would like to add, I basically teach myself everything from the textbook. A 30 minute lesson every other day followed by interruptions from stupid kids in class isn't vital to education as reading by yourself and learning on your own. I don't know, I just think I would really like homeschooling better because my whole life won't be revolved around school. Do you think if I let my mom read this she will let me homeschool? Anything else I should add?

  you need to go back to school i know you dont want to do the whole social thing but trust me i didnt go to school and my whole life is ****** up because i never learned the social skills that come from going to school and making friends. i know you say you isolate yourself and it isnt easy hence the drugs but you also said that you like sports so when you go back start up playing sports and make friends with your team mates i know its all balls to the wind now dude but if you dont go back you will kick yourself and you will blame your poor mother for not making you go TRUST ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! good luck x
