How expensive is acting school?

How To Pursue Acting when at High School?

• Hey, I live in Australia and i really want to pursue acting. I am in high school and i would do anything to make a career out of it. I was hoping people could give me some advice like what to do during school and afterwards seeing as im leaving high school in the next 3 years. Would it be beneficial to move to america and seek representation or go to Nida drama school or im not sure im just confused please help!!!

  Hey I'm in the same boat. I've done alot with Nida, they have short workshops in school holidays and stuff, they are really good if you want more experience. Join your local drama group, or school drama group, get experience. But if you plan to go for Nida right after you leave highschool - don't. They rarely accept people as young as that, they prefer those with more "life experience." I'm planning to take a gap year after highschool, move to melbourne or another big city (because I'm in a small town at the moment) and just get more experience and to build up my resume.
