Answer:
Stagedoor Manor--my dream camp. However, it costs a LOT of money. French Woods--while I think Stagedoor Manor costs more, French Woods is a substantial amount of money. It is definitely a good theater place, though. A few of my friends went there this year and one was Meg Boyd in Damn Yankees. Mac-Haydn Musical Theatre Workshop--this is my camp and it costs less than $500 for one person for 6 weeks. It is a day camp in Chatham, New York. There are three groups: 6-9 year olds is Group 1, and then the 9-16 year olds are split into two groups. Group 3 is generally considered the older end of the 9-16 year olds, but this year it was mixed up a little more. Group 3 performs their show at the Mac-Haydn Theater, which is hard but really fun because it is "in the round." Groups 2 and 3 perform on a normal stage that has platforms that are reassembled every year in the Fairhouse building on the Columbia County Fairgrounds. The teachers are really great. You have to go to a minor audition, but it's mainly to see if you are eager and cooperative. At Workshop, everyone is talented. Groups 2 and 3 are in all three shows--which this year were The Jungle Book (Grp 1), Flapper (Grp 2), and Thoroughly Modern Millie Junior (Grp 3). I was in Group 3 this year, and to give an example, I was a monkey in Jungle Book, a Torch Singer in Flapper, and a Priscilla Girl and a stenog in Millie. You get a bigger part in your group's show and then minor parts--which are sometimes just being in the opening and closing numbers--in the other two. I could say more, but I think that's everything that would apply to you.

Wow! Canada~ I don't personally know which one would be best for u...I guess it depends on what kidn of person u are..and where u think u would feel more comfortable at...BUT I do know a school in South Carolina which I do go 2 for residential high school..and it's called the South Carolina Govenor's school for the arts and humanities and they have summer programs for high school students in acting, art, music, etc. And there drama department is pretty amazing. Research colleges that have pre college summer programs. Specifically art colleges. I hope this helps!
