Where can i find a Legit Nyc Talent Agencies that let you audition or something? or anything.?

    first you need training and experience, agents are last. an agent won't take you if you don't know what your doing. a parent will have to get an agent for you. you can't get one yourself at 15. you can look on SAG'S web site for legit agents. agents only get paid if you work, they get 10%. agents find you auditions for professional parts when they come up, if they fit you. they have no control over when and what things come up for casting. there are things you can do for experience that don't require an agent, like local theater and student and ind. films, their open calls.

well you're supposed to keep your headshots updated as much as possible so that if you do get an audition, the agent/casting director will know that you're the one in the headshot. you also do not pay to be in an agency. your talent agent only gets paid when you get paid, (which is usually 10%). you also always have to be prepared for an audition so you won't get choked up or nervous while on the spot. keep your headshots in color. they will throw out your picture and not even look at your resume if its in black and white.
