How do you become an extra in a movie?
-
If I want to be an extra in an American movie, and I live in Canada, can I just go, or do I need special papers and what not? Plus how do you become an extra in a movie? :P

Answer:
You can't work as an extra in US films as a Canadian. You need to be a legal US resident or have a work permit before you can accept any sort of employment - and extra work counts as employment. And you can't get a work visa for extra work as that is not considered an "extraordinary ability" in the field of entertainment Why not just look for extra work in Canada? There is plenty of film production especially in Vancouver and Toronto
