How do you become a actress?

  • Im only 13 but i really want to be a actress. But the thing is no one believes me that I can be one. My parents just laugh and I reckon all my friends doesnt take it seriously. I feel like im ugly duckling but i still do want to be a actress. I live in australia although i want to become a korean actress. Is it really hard? What should I do? I dont want to give up my dream.

    In high school do as much theatre as you can. Take any acting classes and/or tech classes you can. Audition for every play your school does. Even doing crew helps to build your resume. You can use that to get your foot in the door, and make connections. Once you graduate audition everywhere you can, community and professional.
