Read TheatreDoc's advice - it's usually spot-on. He really does know what he's talking about. The best thing for you to do is go to acting classes or a drama club and learn everything you can. As soon as you can, start on a high school course on Acting or Drama or Theatre Studies, whatever is available. Then you will be ready for a college Acting course. Until you’ve done all that you’re not going to get any acting work, because it’s a really competitive business and you have to look at things from a casting director’s point of view – why would they even audition you when they have hundreds of qualified and experienced young actors who are ready and willing to do the job? Most auditions are only sent to theatrical agents by the casting directors, and they pass the details on to their clients. This means that the roles never get advertised to the public at all. To get an agent, you would need to have been to a good drama school and have loads of experience in leading roles on stage, in student movies, short movies and that sort of thing. And you need to understand that almost all actors start off doing tiny bit-parts here and there, very small roles, commercials, educational tours, promotional work, and so on. They may have to do this for years, doing ordinary work like in stores, bars, offices, etc, to earn enough money to live on. It’s incredibly rare that an actor just walks into a role in a movie, a TV show or a big stage play straight from college. Learn to dance and sing if you can, as a lot of actors find it very useful, and then work your way up the ladder. It’s going to take years of very hard work, and you’ll probably never get paid much or be famous, but if you love acting, that won’t matter. Good luck!

your parents have to get you an agent. You are too young to sign a contract. All About Agents: Once an aspiring actor has a good resume, he or she is ready to begin to work for a career. While building your resume and until you are well established as a professional actor, you need to network. My article on Networking for Success explains how to do that. All the while you are networking as explained in “Networking for Success” on this site. Trying to get an agent before you are ready just will disappoint you. first you need a parent to do this with you, and get you to where you can find acting opportunities. there are none where you are. you need to get out of PA if you want professional mainstream auditions and work. you can look on SAG'S web site and see where the agents are. you need to be located where the agents are. you can't just get one anywhere. agents only send you on calls local to them. you won't find legit agents on the internet. you will need more than a bit of experience to get an agent. agents only get paid if you work. they won't waste time on you unless they think you can make money for them.
