Ideas for school theatre play?

• hey, we have to write a little 10-minute play for 6 people for theatre class. the theme is 'nothing is what is seems'. so we need an original idea that incorporates that theme in it....please no ideas that include a murder mystery where the murderer actually turns out to be the good guy..we want something a little more original please...thank you soo much for your ideas!! :)

  How about you write a script of "The Collecting Team" by Robert Silverberg? You could look up the book (its a short story) for details, but pretty much its about a group of zoologists (in the future) that are going to planets to take back aliens for their zoo. They land on one planet with all these cool creatures and some of the men want to stay to observe them. To summarize, they stay for a while, decide to leave when they start running out of food, something on the planet keeps sabitoging the ship so they can't leave, and it turns out they are now part of a huge zoo that a bunch of huge aliens control. Pretty good story. It it's short. In the book, there are three members of the collecting team, but you could make it 6.
