What are some good acting agencies in the US?

What are some good free modeling and acting agencies? that wont ask you to pay for classes or anything?

  • i dont want to have to take classes, pay for alot of crap. i just want an agency that will set me up with acting jobs and or modeling jobs.

    agents only set you up with auditions. unless you have some training and know what to do on an audition, you won't get any jobs. it would help to know where you are. you can't just get an agent and do this from everywhere. you and your agent need to be located in the same city and where the auditions are. you can look on SAG'S web site for legit agents. one agent does not handle everything. you need the appropriate agent for what you want to do. all agents are free, they only get paid if you work. there will be costs to get you to the point your ready for an agent though. whether their from an agent or someone else you will need some initial classes to learn how things work and how to per sue this. unless you have talent,ability,experience and know what your doing, agents won't bother with you. you will need to audition in person to get an agent. if you can't audition well, you won't get one.

If you're in L.A., go to Samuel French and pick up the Agents and Managers guide. If you're not in L.A., order it online from Samuel French. They usually have up-to-date lists of agents that are not scam artists. Good luck

When you first sign up for a real agency, you shouldn't have to pay to be in it. But they will take about 10% out of your modelling paycheck because they found the client for you. And, like my agency, they aren't giving out the good secrets for free. You will, eventually have to pay some cash in the end, but if you thrust yourself at your dream full force it will pay off.
