Help with starting acting career?

Acting career,plz help?

  • Ok, well im 13 years old and I really need to get my career going full speed. I am currently in acting class, but I think I should start modeling to get discovered. Also I want to do commercials. I live in Atlanta,Georgia. Some people say It's the new Hollywood. It's true too,a lot of people are starting to take an interest in Atlanta.Even that being said, its harder getting discovered here. So can anybody help me find good casting calls for : modeling/commercials for somebody my age. I would Truly appreciate it. REWARDING STARS & POINTS TO BEST ANSWER.

    Take what you've learned in class and put it into practice in a local play. This will give you a reality check on your progress through the audition process, rehearsals and performance. It's important to find out if you're in the right class for you and the only way to do that is to get an unbiased outside opinion. Concern yourself with doing good work. Nothing will bring your career of a screeching halt faster than being discovered - as a bad actress. And while I'm sure that there's more work in Atlanta than there used to be, it's not the new Hollywood. Hollywood is still Hollywood.

lena doesn't realize Powers is a scam. Stay away from them. Atlanta is a great place to become and actor. The only people that can help you are your parents becasue of child labor laws, you cannot sign a contract until you are 18, they have to do it for you. finally, no teen ever became a professional actor without their parents making it happen. If your parents need to know what to do,have them contact me.

hmm. My friend is the same age as you and is also in acting class :) you can go search him up on johnrobertpowers.com and then get his phone number, Once you are ready and finished with all the classes he well find some commercials and t.v things and put you in it. its that easy, hope i helped.
