Where do I start to be in movies with a casting agent in London?

How do I get a career in acting if I don't live near Hollywood?

• Well, I'm a 15 year old guy. Ever since I was 7 I've wanted to be in movies. My parents would sign me up for acting camps, and I would excel very well. The counsilers loved me. But sadly, it closed down after my first year going there. I've also been in 2 plays when I was in elementary school. My school's drama club is only supposed to let you do one play a year. BUT, I did so good in the first play, the drama teacher ASKED me to play the lion in a wizard of oz play at the school. So I was the only kid out of everybody in the club to be in the 2 plays. So obviously, I was a talented actor. But after that, I would beg my parents to look for casting roles, but they would never do it because they "didn't have time" so sadly, I let go of my dream of becoming an actor. But after recently reading a book, the Hunger Games, i started thinking about my dream again. But I have no idea how to even start up. I mean, I live in Florida, Where do they do casting calls in Florida? How do I get an agent in Florida? It seems like everything is up at California. Becoming an actor has always been my dream, but I don't know where to start? BTW, my high school doesn't have a drama program, nor do I belive they will anytime soon. When I was in middle school, I asked the principal if they could get a drama program going, and she said it was a lack of interest from other students, and I dont doubt it will be the same situation in my school.

  Getting into acting is really difficult because less than 1% of the population is successful in the field - especially when it comes to being cast in films. In all honesty, it's not going to be easy and it's not going to be cheap. Before you can even think of finding an agent, you'll have to boost up your resume. In the professional world, grade-school plays and community theater do NOT count as reliable credits. Try looking around for film acting workshops in your area - I'm sure you can find one. That way you can get some training in that because film acting is COMPLETELY different from stage acting.After you get at least a year of training, your best bet is to search online for casting calls for commercials. Commercials are a nice way to start because you can put them on your resume. Also search around for independent film directors who are casting for their films. Do as many film jobs as you can - no matter how small. Then you can search online for an agent and send them demo tapes of your acting. They'll decide whether or not they will want you. If they chose you, then they will start sending your resume out to different casting directors. Getting into big Hollywood films is extremely difficult and you'll really have to work hard. Even then, you still may never make it past Indie films. Life as an actor is hard ... but look on the bright side - you're a guy. There are never enough male actors!
