Any legit acting agencies NEAR weslaco Texas?

  • Hi, I'm a 14 year old guy who wants to become a actor. I want to find a agent/agency. I even went to ipop! It was a scam! So I want to know legit agencies near my area. Please help! That don't charge I heard that legit agents/agencies don't charge they take a percentage out of the jobs they get you. So Please get back to me.

    your going to have to get to Austin or Dallas to find any agents. you will need a parent that will do this with you. first you start out in acting by being in the right place and getting training and experience, looking for agents is last on the list. you can look on SAG or AFTRA'S web sites for agents near you. if none are where you are, you will need to get where they are to do this. you and your agent need to be located in the same city, you can't just get one anywhere. agents only send you on things local to them. you will need to audition in person to get an agent.
