The Next Disney Channel Nationwide Castings?

  • I really want to become an actress for disney channel. But i can't fly to california it's too much money so i need a nationwide casting call. Im 16. I know im probably like too old to even want to be on disney channel but im still a kid. I can sing and i can act. So i just want to know when is the next nationwide casting call . Plzzz HELP. I live in Florida btw. Also it doesnt have to be disney channel it could nick or any other channel.I just want to be an actress. I love acting soo much it's ridiculous ! Thank You !!

    RK is right - forget about Disney or Nick - at your age, you're competing with adult actors, and by the time you've had a few years' at drama school and then gained loads of experience, which is what you will need to get a) and agent and b) auditions, you'll be far too old for kids' stuff. No-one will employ untrained and inexperienced wannabee actors. So if you want to get anywhere as an actor, that's what you would need to address first.

you need to concentrate on getting training and experience before worrying about auditions of that caliber. if you can't get to LA how are you going to get anywhere else. you need to get some acting experience so you can get an agent, tv and movie auditions are not open calls you will know about on your own. if your just starting now, unless you look very young,by the time you get training and experience you will be too old for teen roles.
