Hiding seams on Masonite floors?
-
My technical director left gaps in the Masonite floor when he laid it down and is now trying to cover those seams with gaff tape before we paint the floor. However it seems as though the gaff tape comes up far too easily and I'm worried it will be a problem down the road. Is there a better way of fixing this problem that won't create double work for the painters?

Answer:
fill in the gaps with dry wall mud. smooth it off with a large putty knife. sand off any rough spots when it dries. then paint it. how big of gaps are you talking about?
