Should i do more acting if i know how to become the character?

  • honestly i think u need to know how to become the character. i can feel the difference when i'm on stage and im not in the characters mind, and everything will seem fake. it's hard to explain, but if i really concentrate, i become the character. and then i snap out of it once i'm done. maybe that's just me though. people really believe me when i'm in the character's mind set..is that a sign that i should do more acting?

    Before you make any decisions about acting you should concentrate on school and learn how to express yourself clearly. To become an actor you have to have several years of training and lots of experience. From what I can understand of your very confusing question, you're describing what all actors do. It doesn't mean that you have any or enough talent to make a career of it. Get into a good class and start working. Good luck!

give it a try! it can not hurt and if you can snap in and out of character like that its a great skill to have! give it a go and i am sure if you put your mind to it then you will succeed.

Thats sort of a skill all actors must posess. I tell people this all the time, people will always have feedback. If you practice something 10000 times and you think it's perfect, someone will always be there to tell you to try it differently with a different goal in mind. I don't really think you should be asking strangers what to do with your life. You should decide for yourself if you're not sure about something.
