What would be a good monologue to audition for Secret Garden with?

AUDITION HELP! I need a monologue?

• I'm auditioning for The Wizard of Oz, and I really want to be the wicked witch of the westt(: I'm having trouble finding a monologue that would fit her character though... does anyone know of a witchey-wicked-evil monologue? lol thank you! I was thinking of doing part of the song "last midnight" from into the woods as a monologue instead of a song but idk which part and I'd rather do an actual monologue. :D

  the monologue is not supposed to fit the character you are auditioning for. Its purpose is to show the director who you really are as a person. pick a monologue that you feel as though you could actually say in real life. the monologue should show a side of you, such as your evil side or your shy side or your sweet side, ect. Definitely do some thing from a play that is supposed to be a monologue haha, and make sure it shows off a range of acting and not only you being angry or you being sad. The Glass Menagerie has some good monologues or if you want to do an evil one you could try something from The Witches by Rohl Dahl, I'm not positive if there are any good ones from the grand high witch
