    Almost always, Disney only casts through a few top LA agents, so when they want a role filled, they approach them. The kids they choose have almost always been at stage school since they were about 6 years old. It's not really the age that matters, it's how old you look. But I would advise aiming for something better than Disney - the acting on the Disney Channel is SO bad! Exaggerated, false, unconvincing, quite embarrassing. That's not real acting, and once they've finished with you, you'll be unemployable.

its whatever the age of the character their looking for. or whatever age they specify they want. the limit is the age range asked for in the audition info. there is no set age.
