How Do I Contact Disney?

How can you contact Walt Disney to ask about perhaps using a movie as a play?

• I'm trying to look for disney's "Pocahontas" for a future musical my senior year. So far i'm unable to find one and think they may not have it out as even a play yet. Perhaps with a little persuasion, and a lot of pleading, i could score this musical for my IB project! (note: I really want this movie so i can use it as a musical; it's my dream! I gotta have it!!!!!) Anyone know how I can get ahold of Disney for this HUGE LONG SHOT?

  I answered your question when you posted it earlier. Currently, there is no stage version of "Pocahontas." Disney controls the rights to the film and to any adaptations of it, including school versions. Rights to their published musicals ("Beauty & The Beast," etc) are handled by Music Theatre International. You are NOT going to be able to pry the Pocahontas rights out of Disney. They are a huge, multi-billion dollar corporation and they got that way by hanging onto anything that will make them money. When they decide they want to make a stage musical of the film, they will pick experienced people to do the adaptation. I'm sorry to be so negative, but this is not a dream you can make a reality, no matter how much you want it. Sorry. P.S. Laynie - I'm a professional actress who's been in the musical theatre business for over 25 years and have worked with a number of playwrights and composers on new works. They tell me that Disney is notoriously protective of its copyrighted works.
