  • Answer:

unless you want to make films, you don't need a film school or any specific big college or community college to act. there are quicker less expensive ways to per sue acting than waiting on a 2 or 4 year degree before you can do anything. there are acting classes all over the LA area. going to college or getting a degree is not going to be a guarantee of any work or success. take some acting classes and get a professional opinion on how much talent and potential you have. if you don't have talent for this, a college isn't going to give it to you. you don't want to commit yourself to some big expensive school and then find out this is not for you. take a few acting classes first to see if your even going to like acting and see how much talent you do have.

You don't want to go to NY FA. Los Angeles Film School is fine, assuming you want to be a film maker, but why you need community college first beats me
