How to move to the US?

How can i convince my parents to let us move?

  • I really want to move. I live in Pennsylvania and i want to move to Utah. we have family out there and we go to visit them. My mom always says "its so beautiful out here i wish i could live there." My dad is going to quit his job soon and then look for a new job. My parents were thinking about him looking for a job out in Utah. My mom said her job can be done from anywhere. Also they said that the houses there are really cheap. They said that we could get the same size house for half the price that we can sell our house for. I dont think my brother would mind moving, my parents would like it and i would LOVE it! They said its a 10% chance that we will move. How do i make it more of a chance. If we were going to move we would do it over the summer. That seems like its a long time away but really i would have to make this happen fast. How do i make it so theres more of a chance that we will move?

  • Answer:

Become a Mormon, and tell your parents you want to go to the motherland

Just give them some facts like saying that if we move over there, we wont have to be wasting money on gas going back and forth all the time. You can say since you have a lot of family that it would be better because now you can grow up with them and when your older you"ll have more people to count on and you can go online and find some facts about school like if they give out a lot of scholarships or they have better classes and stuff like that.

say i don't like living here and i have family out there in Utah. and dad can find a new job there. and if your brother will not mind it both talk to them and try to convince them into moving.

Have a family meeting, and list all of the pros and cons. I mean, you've already got many pros, but what exactly is making it 10%? I think you guys should go there for a weekend and check it out some more, in neighborhoods you prefer. Have a real estate agent or not, I'd personally don't like them they never shut up and let you think on your own, and just check out potential houses. Think about the struggle of moving there from where you are, how much stuff do you have? You willing to get rid of some stuff to help make the move less stressful?
