Can they go for a drop goal from the kick off?

Can a parent legally kick their child out in CA?

  • All right, so my mother is a terrible person. I literally have never been in any trouble with the law, I get good grades, and I never am out late. Yet she still goes on these crazy power trips and burst out yelling for no reason at the drop of a hat. Take this for an example, and this really did happen, I helped my grandmother do her job one day(she puts up glasses in stores) when I got home, I was yelled at, and she kicked me out of the house for three days before finally letting me come home. Just for helping a family member. She called me an insubordinate and a traitor for god knows what reason. Still, after that, she threatens me all the time to kick me out. I ask this mainly because at five a.m. this morning, she yelled at me to turn my alarm clock off, have the entire house cleaned by the time she came home, and have my brother move into my room(we don't get along well and, by his choice, he sleeps in the living room.) or we would both be kicked out. I'm just tired of all these threats. I've had to live with the threat of being kicked out for a while. I'm only 17, so I'm not an adult just yet, but can she actually kick me out? If so, can I in return get hr in trouble? Because I know a lot of things illegal with her. 1. She doesn't go grocery shopping for me or my little brother. and she hides all drinks in her room. Every drink I have I bought myself. She gets angry if we as her for anything at all, she gets high off pot literally every hour(don't worry, I do not smoke, I think it's disgusting, however my little brother does because of her) To add to that, she will smoke pot directly in front of her children without caring one bit,and she has two illegal animals. She has kinkajous, even though she was warned that if she was caught with them again, she would go to jail for a year. So, where exactly is my standing on this? Oh, and I suppose it doesn't help that I have go a few days without seeing her every now and then, and she goes to vegas without putting food in the house for us. My dinner for the last few nights has been chips and sour licorice. I didn't even eat a thing yesterday.

I'm sorry I can't answer your question, but if this is a real situation then I'd get the hell outta there. Call child protective services. Do you have family you could live with? You mentioned your grandma. Could you live with her?

K

No!!! she can go to jail for that!

of course she can't do that...3 days is way too long....a normal person can't survive up to three days without water...she is supposed to be responsible for you until you become an adult....tell her that u will call the cops if she does that again....and that will be a bad thing because she has pot in her house and all the other things that she isnt supposed to have.

Weezy

Call H. R. and start off with...I'm 17 and I'm calling about my mother. Say I'm not super concerned with my Mom's daily threats to throw meout; but I am really worried about my little brother. We hardly have any food. I feed him whatever I can find, but Mom hoards the groceries in her room, even the food I bought for my brother and I. She guards her room like it is Fort Knox, because that is where she keeps her dope. Its getting worse, she is now smoking pot right in front of us, then lets her illegal kinkajous. Then innocently ask them, is it illegal for my little brother to smoke pot if Mom lets him? Then wait for the knock on your door.
