It is possible to win my child custody?

How does a father win custody of his child?

  • My husband and "E" had a child together and then separated. They were never married and she now has custody of his daughter. "E" refuses to let my husband talk to his daughter and since we live a state away now, she refuses to let him see her. She threatens him with his daughter each time he says or does something she doesn't like. She tells him that he doesn't need to call her house anymore and that he'll never see his daughter again. Can she do this to him? Yes, she has custody, but he has visitation which she absolutely refuses to go by. He pays his child support on time every time and yet he gets treated like this. Is there any way that we could get custdy of his daughter and stop all of this madness?

It is true the madness NEVER will stop. My boyfriend and I each have one child with another person we both have full custody of our kids and STILL our exes are always trying to cause problems. He just got custody of his daughter 1 year ago, but her mother was a drug addict had been arrested several times and had not been sending the child to school no home and no job and he still had a hard time, however,it only took him 3 months from the time he hired his lawyer. But that is very stressful to go thru for all.

Yes, if she is not going by the visitation orders that were established, then first off, your husband needs to attempt to pick up the kids during his visitation time and if she refuses, then he needs to call the cops. He needs to get this on police reports a few times that she is denying ordered visitation time, then take it to court for contempt because she is consistently violating orders. This could get your husband temporary full custody until she decides to get her act together.

file in court if he has visitation rights and the papers to prove it then he should be allowed to see his child if she doesnt follow the rules she can be arrested, if he can prove she is an unfit mother then he can fight for sole custody

He can fight for custody any time he wishes. Doesn't mean he'll win though. He'd have to find many things wrong with her to get her child taken away. He can go to court right now because she's not allowing visits. She has to allow those, unless it's court ordered he NOT be around the child for some reason. When one get's involved with someone with baggage, the madness NEVER stops
