How many people have gone missing for the last 20 years?

What do you think of this letter I am writing to family I split up with 10 years ago?

• So i'm 13, and this is what I have wrote. No one can truly understand the feelings I have at this time, and I cant even describe them to their full capacity. You were the Goddesses and Gods of my life. That has all been taken away from me, leaving me hopeless, like a deer in the headlights. I cant decide how to deal with your absence. Guidance is absent, your presence is absent, your love is absent to me. It's hard to make 20 cookies, with only enough flour to make 10, and it is hard to live life, with half a family missing. Think of our family as those 10 cookies, and if you try to make 20, it will not come out right, and that is what I fear has happened with our family. I want our family to work, but because of our past, fate does not approve of it, is what I feel like. I on the other hand, want to ignore fate. I feel that this may have done a large injustice in my family. The longer we wait, i'm afraid the worse my feelings will get. I cannot live life to it's full potential without you. It breaks my heart to have to go through this. It's hard to spread love on Christmas and New Years when two people show up at my house. My only family left are my grandmother, my uncle, my mom, and my dad. Who will I go to for love when they are gone? I'm sorry for any circumstances that may have happened before your absence. I DID NT INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING IN MY LETTER: Almost every night i'll cry until about 1am just thinking about them, how I wish I new them, remembered anything from when I was 3 about them. That is a night like tonight. How can I make my letter have full potential?
