  • my older brother travis just go home from a 3 month prison sentence.. i was so happy to see him when he got out of jail! the first week was great but lately he's been acting different. he doesnt like to eat alone, like if i want to eat dinner in the living room and watch tv instead of at the table with him and mom he gets really angry, and he's always up REALLY early.. makes me get up for school, he used to sleep until noon so it was no big deal.. he even told my mom i was smoking weed!!! like what the hell? he used to smoke it all the time! he's just not the same guy as when he left. my friends make fun of me and say that he got raped in jail.. is this true? should i try and talk to him about it? i miss my old bro!

Are you an idiot? He is trying to keep you from making the same mistakes. Of course he doesn't like eating alone, he wants to be with his family. You know the one that he's been away from for 3 ******* long months? Don't ******* disrespect your brother because he is trying to look out for you dumbass.

If he DIDN'T come out of jail a different person then there's a problem. Sounds like his trying to make you respect your family and the rules/laws more. You should show him some respect.

At mealtimes, it could be that he was made to eat alone in prison so he wants to have company again. He would have had a schedule for getting up and all, so now he wakes up early. he might be scared that you will go to jail for smoking weed so he is trying to stop you doing it. Being in prison changes people. Hopefully, he will become more normal with time, but jail is meant ot teach people a lesson so it would be of concer if he went back to being just how he used to be. He almost certainly was not raped in jail; that is a malicious lie meant to hurt you and worry you. Personally I wouldn't talk to him about it, at least not for a while yet – whatever has or has not happened, he needs time to deal with it and become a better person.

Honestly? Sounds like he learned his lesson and matured. You should follow his example.

Sounds like he's learned a lesson and is trying to be a better person and keep you from making the same bad decisions he did.
