How to get married in syria as foreigners ? any ideas?

People who are married to foreigners, how do you get over....?

• My husband and I are not only interracial couple but also from totally different countries. I love my life and his family is great to me but I can't help feeling sad because we dont get spend many celebrations together (especially winter break (Xmess and new years period), many week in the summer...)since I have to either go visit my family or they come visit me so he has to go visit his family alone. I know that once we both get jobs and get done with school I will get to see my family more often since i ll have money and time available but that s not going to be for like 2 more years or so... I get really depressed many times, what should I do? any advice? does it get better with time? PS: I have been married for 4 years and half. Thanks

  Marriage is a series of compromises and you'll both have to make some sacrifices on this one. Your family and his family is not more important than the other and it's important for both of you to spend time with your respective family. Maybe you can alternate between going to one family for one year or you could each spend some time apart, since it'll be good for your marriage also, but maybe have an early celebration before you go to your respective families.
