My mother doesnt like me ...help me help me help me?

I can tell you from experience that my mom was the same way. I built up so much resentment for her from that and once I got older it was really confusing because she wasn't abusive and I got almost everything I wanted, but my mom was really harsh and not very nurturing. The thing is you cant change your mom. and sometimes moms can be jealous of daughters! its true! the only that I can say is don't look to her for her approval because chances are you will never get it and you will drive yourself crazy trying to. Just keep doing your best, and learn how to self suffice. That's what I did, by me not having my mothers approval it made me stronger, and I learned to care less and less of peoples judgment, and I started to think higher of myself. I treat people how I want to be treated. I compliment my friends and my lovers, and I appreciate only the people that appreciate me. Your mom may have personal issues that moms just have that daughters just never learn to understand until we are them. So don't become her, just learn from it and when you feel less hurt about it talk to her and let her know how it made you feel and how it has affected your life.

you know.. sometimes.. you get stuck in life with a mom like yours impossible to please no matter what you do.. it's never right it certainly is not easy try your best to keep positive try to find other family members that you can warm up to when it's not going well with her and remember this.. about your mom.... then love the children you will have unconditionally so they never have to feel what you are feeling now
