Mothers day gift!?!?!?!??? help!!!?

  • so my mom is AWESOME. she always thinks of others before herself. She seriously NEVER does ANYTHING for herself. She is such a great mother to her 4 kids (im the oldest) and a great wife to her husband. For mothers day she wants to get a family portrait done, and we will do that. But I want to do something more for her. I want her to feel loved, appreciated, and special. I was thinking of taking her to a spa, but they're SOOO expensive (and im only almost 13... and not rich at all..) I love the spa idea though!! Im sure my dad would be happy to pitch in, but still I feel bad asking for the money. Other things I though of were clothing, jewelry, flowers, etc. Opinions on the spa idea? Any other ideas? What would you want if you were her? Thanks!!

    If you want to do something nice for her, take all her responsibilies for the day. Make her breakfast, serve it to her in bed. Then feed the rest of the family. Do her chores for they day. Or after you feed your younger ones take them to the park so mom & dad can have a few hours to themselves.

You should write her a nice note saying all those things, how great you think she is,and how much you love her.

If you love the spa idea then why don't you give her the manicure, pedicure and facial? And make her a nice lunch to go with it! I'm sure you have many of the products at home and you shouldn't have to spend a lot for the rest and you can most likely get a single red rose or something for her as well. Personally I would love anything I got but somehow fathers day is always a bigger deal here. My children are already buying fathers day gifts! And my husband already told me we don't have the money to get anything for me. Just like Christmas! So I have learned not to get out of bed on those days!

What me and my sister are doing is we're singing her a song together.. we kept wanting to get her SOMETHING but she refused to let us know what she wanted cas she wanted it to be an actual genuine gift rather than something store made..sooo, we got creative and were going to give her a little miniture preformance!!! (Plus doing her daily chores for her)

I would want breakfast in bed- my family together with me @ church & to be taken some place nice for dinner ie; my backyard decorated & my family cooking out on the grill !! Now that's just me No dishes & spending the entire day with loved ones /
