What paintball barrel should I get?

Which Paintball barrel should I get for my Bt-4 Assault?

• I'm considering 3 barrels. They are all different in price. The BT Paintball 14" APEX 2, BT Hammerhead Barrel, and Tippmann A5/X7 Custom Hammerhead Dominator. They are all 14" and rifled. I'm just curious which is best I have a feeling it is going to be the BT Hammerhead just because its $115. The Apex 2 has amazing curve feature and is only $45 and then the Dominator is $90 but it has a terrible self clean. Give me your opinion.

  Apex 2. Just because the Hammerhead costs more doesn't mean it's gonna be better. In fact, quality is gonna be the same with all 3. On a side note, don't fall for the "rifled" hype. A paintball cannot physically benefit from rifling in a barrel. Paintballs are not like real bullets, they tend to ignore the rifling altogether, so using that as a feature is a waste. The reason rifling can affect bullets is because they can only rotate left or right while in the barrel since they're cone/cylinder shaped, thus they can be subject to a spin in one direction. But paintballs will rotate in every possible direction since they're round, so they won't follow the rifling for the entire length of the barrel. The most important aspect of the barrel's inner surface is to be super polished smooth, so the paintball has zero friction while passing through it. For that reason, i wouldn't recommend any rifled barrel. If you're open to suggestions, i recommend either a J&J Ceramic or a CP 1-piece.
