Which Paintball Marker would be the best to buy?

  • I'm looking at guns from this website : http://www.sportsauthority.com/family/index.jsp?cp=3077572.3084897&categoryId=2295244&s=D-StorePrice-TSA&searchSort=TRUE&view=all Could you please go to the website and pick out a gun that would be a good gun for a second time user who's looking to take on the sport? Preferably not one of the more realistic guns, but one of the paintball style ones. I'm looking for something that is great for it's dollar and has good accuracy, doesn't chop as much paint, and that is a very reliable, durable paintball marker at a reasonable price. Thanks!

    I got two choices for you. Either the Tippmann pump marker cause my brother has it and it's super accurate and you have to pump it after each shot so you save balls (paintballs). Plus he always get compliments from the guys hes shooting like "Dude that gun is super accurate! etc." Or get the reliable Tippmann 98 which is what some of the paintball places use anyway its a good gun. I own the Tippmann x7 which is the one that look like the m16 on that site its good for me I like it cus of the handle on top I hold that when im running at the start to cover.

Well... if it has to be only from that site.... then I guess the Tippmann 98. You're a new player so I don't think you'll have fun with the pump yet. People who play with pumps generally do it for the increased challenge of using their pump up against high end semi-auto markers. New players generally don't find pump very fulfilling. The Tippmann 98 has been touted as the highest quality marker of it's genre. I've owned two. They are basic, but built very well. Built much better than anything from Kingman (Spyders).
