Where to get new skateboard bushings?

How do I build a good mini cruiser skateboard?

• Hiya! I currently live in the city and am looking for a good cruiser skateboard that could simply get me around town. I'm looking for smooth, quick riding, sharp turns, light weight, and the ability to jump curbs. No fancy tricks for me. At the moment, I own a Moose pintail longboard, but found it is way too heavy and hard to turn for me-- my height is barely over 5 feet. I'm hoping for something a little more portable and easy to handle. However, there are so many options out there! I don't even know where to start. What kind of deck shape do I look for? Which brands carry good bearings, bushings, wheels, trucks, etc., and what kind am I looking for? I've been told to get a cruiser deck with soft wheels... whatever that means. Or, are there perhaps good skateboard shops around Boston where I could get advice? Thanks so much! Any advice is appreciated.
