Whats the best longboard for cruising?

Good Cruising Longboard?

• I live in a slightly hilly neighborhood, nothing too big, and I need a longboard for my son. He's still in the "growing stage," but he's about 5'9. As the local ski resorts close and spring comes around, I thought a longboard would be a good summer alternative to snowboarding. I researched a little, and I'm guessing he would want a cruising longboard. He's an excellent carver on a snowboard, and said he would like to be able to do that as well as use the longboard as a form of transportation. The videos and articles did little, and I'm still clueless. Suggestions for style of longboard and the longboard itself?

  that kind of depends on what your price range is. the first board i thought of after reading this question is a Loaded Tan-tien. it is an absolutely fantastic board but is a little pricy. on the cheaper end, a Sector 9 Carbon decay is also a good board for what you are looking for. before buying anything though, you should check out daddiesboardshop.com they usually have the best prices.
