How to make a skateboard deck?

  • hey i was wondering if i can use a piece of wood that's the same width of a skateboard or do i have to use plywood?... oh and if i add 2 layers of wood and 2 fiberglass sheets between them to that piece would that help?

    you could use a piece of wood but ply wood, maple, or birch would bee a lot better and last longer, and yes 2 fiber glass and wood reinforcements would probably make it last longer also
