Best airsoft gun for beginner?

Is this a good beginner airsoft gun?

And for all of you who are going to comment saying "never buy from ebay, EVIKE is the best" they have the same EXACT gun on evike, the only few differences is that this one has a metal gearbox, the evike one doesnt, and this one is cheaper, all advice and feedback is helpful. The FPS is descent, and it has a full metal gearbox (which I've heard is good) Thank you!

  As long as you are responsible with the upkeep of the gun and don't mind the minor complications and high price of an AEG, then go ahead. Its ultimately your choice, but I would purchase a spring rifle or pistol with an FPS range of 220 to 375. Springs are far better starter guns because of the low cost, high durability, and easy maintenance. Usually, you can purchase a great starter pistol with 240 FPS for under $35.00, and you will get used to how it works before buying a complicated AEG with confusing internals. Also, if you don't know too much about Airsoft internals, then your $90 gun is more likely to break; whereas a $35 spring gun is less likely to break and is more easily replaced. The more purchases you make, the more you will learn about these guns and how they run, what's best for them, etc. I don't know how much this has helped you, but good luck!
