Should I get the Invert Mini?

For my invert mini do i need to get an allen key set with imperial units, or one with metric units?

  • I have an invert mini paintball gun. I think I lost a few allen keys so i want to buy an allen key set. Do I need imperial units ie inches half inches 16th inches or do i need metric units ie millimeters. If you know of a good allen key set that I should buy for the mini please include a link to where i can buy it preferably from amazon.com

    most paintball guns along with everything else made in china use the metric system... while i don't have that specific paintball gun.....everyone i have ever looked at used metric.... ** btw allen wrench sets are relatively cheap pick up a set of both.........I usually use BOTH sets when working on stuff....sometimes the sae set will fit metric heads better and visa-versa ........due mostly to the coating used on lots of allen head bolts...... so having both sets and using the one that fits the best keeps u from stripping out bolts........ESPECIALLY when ur doing scope/sight work on real firearms and removing bolts that have been blue locktited.....

Most paintball guns actually use imperial units (most people just call then "standard" allens), like 7/64 or 5/32 inches (one of those may actually be the size used for the Mini's frame screws... been a while since i've owned one). Only paintball guns that use metric that i'm aware of are Spyders. You can get allens at any hardware store, even Target or Walmart. Since you're in the market for some new ones, i suggest getting a complete set of ball-end allens. I've got a 13-piece Craftsman Ball End Hex Key set, and love it. The longer end of each allen key has a hex "ball" on it, allowing you to screw/unscrew things at angles. So handy for hard-to-reach spots, and every experienced paintballer knows about hard-to-reach spots.
