he was 3months old when he got parvo, he is 4 months old now.however, this morning i found him with similar signs of parvo; he won't eat, he won't drink and he has lethargy. when he had parvo he never vomit nor had diarrhea, he is the same today. can you please explain me whether this is parvo attacking again? i am taking him to a vet this evening, so please just answer the question based on your knowledge and experiences. thank you for your time.

Answer:
Apparently first effort only suspended the symptoms, didn't eliminate them..

If he had parvo a month ago and survived , it is unlikely he will have it again . He will have built up immunity and anti bodies , which should prevent im catching parvo virus again . Just like a vaccination. All you can do is see what the vet says . Did he diagnose parvo last time ? Its rare to have the parvo virus and not display symptoms such as vomiting and diarrhea. He may still be weak from the parvo virus he had last month , it can take weeks for puppies to fully recover .
It takes more than a month to clear up parvo. Also, parvo lives for up to a year in places where he may have used the potty and contaminated.Wood floors and such can be bleached, but yards are much harder to decontaminate.Talk to your vet about this. Also,he should NOT be out in public at all, being exposed and exposing other dogs to risk of infection. No puppy should ever have paws on ground until fully vaccinated, unless you are in your own back yard.Good luck.
I am not a trained VET only a Vet could tell you. I did find this link in a forum I am on. http://www.dolforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=50832 Good luck with your dog
I guess it is possible for the Parvo not to have completely cleared his system - he should have some immunity to the virus however. I'd suggest he may be one who is always going to have a sensitive stomach as the result of the damage done from the Parvo so literally anything different he eats, could kick off this sort of reaction. Best I can suggest is you get him back to the vet asap - and keep him away from any other dogs until you find out exactly what's going on - including the vet's waiting area.
