Are there any replicas of the titanic anywhere?

Why are there so few .177 cal replicas of popular assault rifles?

• I've asked this question before, but I want to make myself a little clearer. Many popular manufacturers produce airsoft replicas of ARs, G36s, and other popular assault rifles, as well as pistols and sidearms. However, in the mainstream airgun/pellet gun market, you will only find replicas of pistols and sidearm replicas. I know there are a few out there, but they aren't really produced as widely. I'm talking mainstream here. Walk into any sporting goods store and that's probably all you'd find. If they can produce sidearm replicas, why can't they produce assault rifle replicas? I know if I went into Big 5 and saw them, they would be selling pretty well.

  Form follows function. The most appropriate design for anything is the simplest design that meets the design objectives. And there may be 2 primary demands, 1 for folks that are looking for something to plink around in the backyard and perhaps shoot some small varmints or birds and need something light and easy to handle, and another for match contestants who are looking for accuracy in marksmanship competition. In neither case does one find a need for some bulky forward grips and banana clips and stuff that make it "look" like an assault rifle, but make it more bulky and awkward to handle and don't provide much benefit to either fun plinking or marksmanship shooting.
