Modoc Rail Academy Vs. National Academy Of Railroad Sciences?

Soccer youth academy team vs. select team?

• Aaaalright, so if you're reading this, you probably know what an academy team is vs. a select team. If not, a youth academy is a real prestigious team, like the Seattle Sounders Youth Academy, whereas a select team is.. well there's tons. And It'd make me super happy if no one answered something like, "dawg, you're not even good, go poop in your pants" or something like that, but I know some people will, so here we go anyways.. Say, theoretically, I did have a chance to make it onto the U15-U16 Seattle Sounders Youth Academy team. Say theoretically that my dream was to go pro (I'll leave it at that). Would trying out for the Seattle Sounders Youth Academy team be the way to go? On the contraty, there is another team who I've been playing with, where practices are located much closer and is less "time-consuming/life-consuming". I played a tournament with this team last year and we tied Tynecastle FC, one of the best teams in a state, 2-2! They haven't even lost or tied in 14 months, the last time I played them! This team would definitely be a very good team too, but not as prestigious. Going pro is most important to me, but I can't overlook my happiness and wanting to have a life too. We had an assembly today, and in it, it said that Michael Jordan didn't even make it onto his highschool basketball team, and look where he is now. What are your guys's opinions on this, with like colleges and stuff? Which would be better? I'm in 9th grade, and yeah. Looking to be the best. Thanks. :)

  Hey, I'm also in grade 9 and play high level soccer. I would go for the academy only because it gets your name and face out there, and there is almost nothing more important than a reputation. In terms of universities I am in the same situation as you :P
