How long does it take for a cat scratch to heal?
-
I just got a new kitten, he is 2 months old and he keeps leaping on me. He landed on my chest (he isn't being mean, he likes to be held and it was after I was gone a while) and I have two long red scratches. They are thin but don't seem to be dulling and it's been 3 days. I also have 2 on my hand from a few days ago that don't seem to be dulling. I have been putting neosporin on when I can, rubbing in vitamin E oil and using moisturizing lotion. I am allergic to bandaid glue so I can't use them on hands or chest. Any ideas are appreciated.

Answer:
It depends on how deep they are. I used to get scratched ALL the time by a kitten I spent every second with when I was young. They will dull, mine haven't been visible since about a week (for the faintest) to a month or so (deepest) after getting them.
