Which of these colleges is easier to get into?

Do American colleges go easier on Canadian students trying to get into their college?

  • Okay so I'm Canadian and I'm in grade 11. I want to live in the US after I graduate high school. Well I have a cousin living in San Diego, so this is my plan... Right after I graduate high school, I'll apply for a student visa, go to live with my cousin while I attend college there for Nursing for 2 years. Then when I graduate, I'll become a Nurse, find an employer, and get them to sponsor me so I can get my Permanent Residency/American citizenship. The only thing I'm worried about is the fact that my grades may not be high enough to get into a college in the US. I understand the grading system here is different than it is in America, so for example, a 70% here is a B-, but in America it's like a C, right? So what grade I think is good here may actually be not-so-good there. Would the colleges in the US go easier on a Canadian trying to get into their college since they know we grade differently here and such? Thanks.
