How can i go to university and study medicine for 6 years in america?

i have heard that you have to finish your highschool here(in america) to study medicine for 6 years and then finish it,because lots of people study a 4 year and then a 3year to finish medicine ,whats the rule to get to the 6 years studying of medicine?????

Answer:
You must have a high school diploma to go to college. You need a four year Bachelor degree and take the MCAT exam to apply to Medical schools. where you will be for another 6 years
