Study abroad for high school junior year?
-
would that be a bad or good idea? i would like to go anywhere in europe, maybe on scholarship if possible, and a school that has a good art program and dance and many languages, that is fairly easy to get in to. is study abroad equivalent to AP classes? what do colleges prefer? i also want to go abroad in college! is study abroad through public schools, or is it also through private schools, which is best for me? could i go to a country where i do not know the language?

Answer:
Hmm.. well. Maybe studying abroad for highschool isnt a good idea. Usually students travel for university or college. Theres really no point in studying abroad for highschool... its just high school. You should look for high schools in your own home town that has the courses and programs that you want. If not, then you can always look into specific subjects in a normal highschool.. just saying.
