Has anybody ever gotten their first choice for the rotary club exchange?

How can I apply for Foreign Exchange?

  • This year, I am currently a Sophomore, and want to apply to be a Exchange Student to Japan, but I know relavtively little on how this all works. So I need to know how to get started, and how to apply. I do plan on applying for a bunch of different programs, in case I don't get into my first choice. Also, how would I apply for scholarships? Btw; if anybody has a list of well-received programs and/or scholarships, that would also be helpful.

  • Answer:

Start at your university's study abroad department. They have all sorts of information on study abroad programs as well as scholarships that may be available. There will be tons of scholarships you can look into and they get really specific like "upperclassman study abroad to Asia studying 13th century literature" and things like that. Good luck!
