Is Lush cheaper in England or America?

How much is an English and/or Education degree from England worth in America?

  • I'm giving a lot of consideration to going to a university in England and getting my degree/s there. Haven't looked into specific schools, so not sure if there even are dual English/Education programs for English teaching. But, question asked for either or both. My boyfriend-y, fiance-y, life-partner-y guy lives in England and has been working and planning to try to come and become a permanent in America, hoping to be here within 2 years. But, of course, there's never any real certainty that he'll be able to. So, he was thinking that another option was for me to go to school in England, get my degree/s (and possibly probably my certification) and then decide together where to live. So, we don't know how much good it would be, back here in America, for me to have a degree from England. Would it count for as much as the same here? More? Less? Could I just get my state-specific certification and be good? For that matter, the reverse? Would an American degree be worth anything or as much in England?

  • Answer:

Hi. I received my advanced degree from England, the University of Surrey. I have been teaching ESL (English as a Second Language) ever since and it is a very well respected university in the UK and has a good ESL department. Good Luck to you!
